desk drawing

here is a drawing of my desk set up from earlier on today (before i got out my wacom)

I’m really scared of colouring tbh because I’ve not learned how to ‘see’ pallettes – and maybe I never will… But I’m gonna try in future things. For now I just wanted to have a go scanning in a micron pen drawing (0.2 and 0.8mm) and editing with CSP. It’s actually totally delightful and easy, although i wasn’t aiming for a hi-res thing or anything fancy. I’ll have to have a go at other more advanced options in future too.

I’m excited to get to understand the different brush and pen options too – this will definitely take time and involve lots of head-hurting confusion :->

I love the wacom vs csp – it seems to work much better than it ever did with ps, though I don’t know why that would be?

Things i learned with this:

  • drawing keyboards is actually very enjoyable
  • csp is fassst / i can use it fast?
  • the brushes and pencils and stuff are designed to interact with their marks like in real life kinda
