In late 2023 I was honoured to be invited along to a new Leeds-based comics venture. Between eight-ten comics nerds gathered in The White Swan for some drinks and comics chat. The soon-to-be christened Leeds Comics Collective has grown in strength and numbers since then, and we’ve even published our first anthology! Our theme, ‘Cryptids of Leeds’, spawned multiple horrors and ghouls (more than a few inspired by the Otley Run), and has been enjoying a lot of positive feedback now it’s out in the wild.
