Leeds Queer Film Festival is such an amazing yearly feat of DIY organising, and a sparkling gem in Leeds’ cultural calendar, so I was immensely proud to create the illustrations and cover for the 2024 programme and fliers.
I loved watching the films and looking out for special details to capture moments that would convey the feeling of each film. There was a lot of joy, strength, and togetherness in so many of the films; also sadness, adversity and horror – a wealth of queer experience and creativity!
