I always had a lot of fun trying to come up with a new silly depiction of our riso printing team at Footprint 🙂 We had a lot of sweet customers and customer-friends, perhaps they called us ‘angels’ enough times that it stuck in my head… At some point along the drawing process I realised it might look as though we’d all died and gone to Footprint Heaven, but I was in too deep to turn back then!
Unfortunately, as usual, scanning in the fluorescent pink has dampened the colour down massively. The photo below shows the pink a bit better!
I also contributed an illustration for the month of January, which you can see below.
I made these layers with pencil and an alcohol brush marker for the background. The pink layer is actually three different pieces of drawing combined (linework, texture and background), as I wasn’t really sure whether I wanted the linework in pink or blue. I like this drawing and I really like taking indulgent naps. If you like these too, you can buy one of these prints on my shop.
